I have never had a front pocket wallet such as this. It fits comfortably in the front pocket, slim and although it is a "weird" shape I accept that that is the real beauty of this product. It is so good I plan to order a couple more in different colors. Super good product!
Thank you for your review! I see you purchased our Made in Maine Wallet in Cowhide with six credit card slots. Our Bison and Moose Leathers are just as awesome if you are planning to order more in the future.
I bought my husband a Rougue pocket wallet for a stocking stuffer last year and he loves it! He was able to fit all of his needs in it, and also eliminate the wear on his pants from a stuffed wallet rubbing against the back pocket, causing the fabric to break down. A total win for a gift idea!
Nice wallet, well made but very stiff when new. Like a new pair of fine leather shoes, a break-in period may be required. I have carried it for 3 months. the leather is softening but I still fight to remove the middle credit card from either side. The slot depth is engineered so the card barely is exposed from the card in front. This means less card exposed on which to get a grip. Also the main reason for the 2 star rating is my jeans are starting to get that worn look of the wallet outline, mainly the upper outside corner. I always thought the wallet outline in the back pocket was from sitting on it, apparently not. I am 64 years old and my jeans are all relaxed fit, not tight at all. I have carried various wallets in my front pocket for over a decade and this is a first. I will try it 'upside down' with the point towards the inside, as another reviewer is doing, but this defeats the reason for this design.
Hi Gary, thanks for writing, and we're sorry the wallet isn't meeting your expectations. Please give us a call at 1-800-786-1768 and we'll work to make it right.
I've had my front pocket wallet for over five years and it's showing no signs of wear. I keep it thin, a half a dozen cards and never much money, so it shares my left front pocket confortably with my cell phone. I'd replace it, but it doesn't seem to need to be.
Sadly, this wallet does not hold up. It is a very very thin leather faced construction that wears badly at contact points.
About a year and a half ago I purchased a black front pocket wallet with RFID-blocking and have just loved it. BUT the stitching on the wallet has come undone, so the lining is all loose. Can this be repaired or replaced? Please let me know. John Thomas Reed, 4595 Quaker Lake Road, Brackney PA 18812
I now carry a redline which came from another catalog that no longer carries the product. I saw your ad in the latest issue of Smithsonian, Since I bought my last wallet and another for a good friend I intend to do the same this time. However, the current situation is somewhat fogged by CHOICES! I will forward your site to my friend so that he can make his own choice of leather. Question; how does the salmon hold up compared to the animal leather?
1st thing I did when received, check workmanship, excellent in every way. Took a while to get used to, can't tell I have it, don't feel it even while sitting. The card slots were tight, used the handle of a table knife to stretch leather, like we used to break in leather shoes. ,h
At All American Reviews, we do extensive research to find the best products made in the USA. We recently set out to find the best wallets made in America, and the Rogue Classic Front Pocket Wallet came in as one of our top 8 wallets! Read our full post here: http://allamericanreviews.com/best-wallets/ . The fit of the wallet is phenomenal, and has plenty of carrying room inside for a variety of cash and cards. Also like the RFID blocker integrated directly into the design!
Cards and license fall right out when I open the wallet. Hopefully my wife can find the receipt for return. She ordered directly so maybe you keep records?
